Salvia chamelaeagnea (6219831436)
Description:
Description: Bought this week from Jennie Maillard at Usual and Unusual Plants - this is one of the South African species. I just looked it up (Wikipedia has some stunning photos of it) and it looks like being both enormous (6ft across and 4ft high) and too tender for us here - being from the Cape coast. Never mind - it's good enough for a pot, brought in in winter. Having said that, I've been looking around at my tender plants and wondering where they're all going to go. Date: 7 October 2011, 09:32.
