Bay-backed Shrike, Chincholi Wildlife Sanctuary, Telangana, India (50263109437)
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: A Bay-backed Shrike Lanius vittatus at Chincholi Wildlife Sanctuary, Telangana, India. This one is smaller than the other shrikes too. But the method of killing and impaling its prey onto the thorns remains the same. This was my second sighting and shot of this bird after a long time. Next time should spend more time with it to see the behaviours. Date: 23 August 2020, 07:49. Source: A Bay Backed Shrike. Author: Hari K Patibanda.
