Inca Jay - Ávila

Image of crows and jays

Description:

Close-up of an Inca Jay Cyanocorax yncas (locally known as Querre-querre). taken in the Park ranger's post "Sabas Nieves II" in the National Park "Ávila" in Caracas, Venezuela. A lot of these birds gather around the mountain-hikers (el Ávila is a mountain range) and when the hikers are calm enough the birds come down and eat really near. Sometimes closing in as much as to eat off a person's hand
