Land Gastropod leaving mucus-conserving trail IMG 1673s
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Cornu aspersum (or Helix aspersa as it used to be) leaves a mucus-conserving trail when moving over an absorbent surface such as dry brick. Here the tail and part of the belly are visibly raised to avoid contact that would leave unnecessarily expended mucus. Date: 25 January 2013, 07:31:44. Source: Own work. Author: JonRichfield.
