Summary[edit] Description: Red-breasted Sapsucker drilling shallow holes holes in the trunk of a Toyon bush, or tree in this case, to eat the tree sap. 1D Mark III w/300 mm f/2.8L + 580 EX II IS in manual mode at 1/2 power from the van with Arthur Morris BLUBB. Subject distance 20 feet. It is interesting that a favorite fruit for the Cedar Waxwing is the Toyon Berries from this bush or tree and the Red-breasted Sapsucker enjoys the sap.
