Description: Flowers of Mucuna pruriens, a wild bean with horribly itchy hairs on the plant. In Mozambique it is called "Feijão Maluco" (="crazy bean") or "feijão macaco" ("monkey bean"). Here in front of "Cabeça do Velho", Manica province of Mozambique. In times of hunger, the beans are sometimes prepared as a substitute for beans. Date: 7 April 2010, 13:22.
