Lake of Paturia in the dense forests. On the opposite side of the MagdalenaMr, T. K. Salmon met with it at several of his collecting-localities in the State of Antioquia in1872 and the following years, and supplied us with excellent specimens. The species also ranges sufficiently far south to be occasionally present in Bogotacollections. Skins of the unmistakable make of this district are in my collection and inthat of Messrs.
