Dashed Ringtail Erpetogomphus heterodon male Mimbres River at Royal John Mine Rd., Grant Co., New Mexico 24 August 2013 This is an uncommon to rare dragonfly which ranges from west Texas to New Mexico. It might occur in AZ but documentation lacking. It has been 25+ years since the species has been found outside of New Mexico.
