Image of White-winged crossbill

Description:

White-winged Crossbill female Aledo, Parker Co., Texas 16 Dec 1992 White-winged Crossbill is a rare winter visitor to Texas. This one provided the 3rd Texas record when it stayed at Aledo, Texas for 5 days in December 1992. Lousy photos, but in combination I think the bird is identifiable in the several images presented. The last shot shows an American Goldfinch on the left of the feeder with the crossbill on the right.
