Image of Ligia occidentalis (Dana 1853)
Description:
I do not know what this is. There were many of them all over the rocks at the waterline. They varied in size from skinny to hefty like the one pictured, and from 1/2 inch - 3 inches long. They seemed like a cross between a pill bug and a cockroach.
