Description:
"Hundreds of these slipper shells were washed up on the beach at Lover's Point. All of the ones I looked at shared a very low hook at the posterior edge of the shell and an interior ""shelf"" that extended anteriorly on either side. Based on the description and key in Light and Smith's manual, I believe this is Crepidula norrisiarum, but would appreciate any additional insights. @gbentall , @invertzoo , @pliffgrieff Do you recognize this species?"
