"Imperial Shag Grytviken, South Georgia 26 Jan 1996 Until recently the ""blue-eyed shags"" on South Georgia were considered a distinct species, the South Georgia Shag (Phalacrocorax georgianus). These birds have now, apparently, been lumped in with Imperial Shag (Phalacrocorax atriceps)."
