Image of Phrynosoma blainvillii Gray 1839
Description:
Second of three horned lizards I saw along a ca. 50m stretch of fire road. All were about the same size, and likely young of the year. The second and third horned lizards were found about 50cm apart hanging out beneath some low vegetation along the side of the fire road.
