Went on a night hike with my friend Jeff, before it got completely dark we found a fence lizard soaking up warmth on a rock but did not voucher. Best find of hike was this cute little coast horned lizard that ran across the trail in front of us, was able to get a few pics of it. Jeff also found a big SD alligator lizard under a bush but we could not voucher or catch for close ups. We saw no snakes despite covering a large area and various habitats. Could have been smoke from fires or the full moon.
