Description:
General view(I didn't think to take day to day photos for detailed proof)They ate a couple pieces of lettuce each night for the first few days, then didn't eat much the next few days. About a week after collection a batch of ~53 eggs appeared. A couple days later their appetite picked up again. 1/20/17 Four amber snails are now apart of the NHM SLIME collection. 1/27/17 #9 &10 first confirmed hatched amber snail. There were some eggs(#11) on the piece of bark which survived. The eggs(#12) on the plastic container never developed. Their membrane absorbs water which can cause a type of reaction(some burst https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliciculture Pens and enclosures para 11), and thereby no progress. 2/3/17 10 baby amber snails seen in container. 3/21/17 1st hatched Suboval Ambersnail #13 is now about 2.1mm and #14 ~1.8mm. There are only three surviving baby amber snails.
