Description:
5-6 mm body. Dark body, black wings. Reddish-brown eyes. Hairy palps (body parts near mouth, look like folded arms). Very long striped antennae. Other than these swarming just above slow water, very few insects seen this evening. One large stonefly (size 6 or so) flew by, one large yellow mayfly, saw maybe a very few small mayfly spinners. Maybe a few small caddis.
