Description:
Scorpion species just outside Vernal, Utah 13 June 2001 I don't know what species this may be. If anyone can ID it I'd appreciate the info. Thanks. I know that striped bark scorpion (Centruroides vittatus) is the common species encountered in Texas where I live, but I don't know if this is the same species or not. Note added 12 June 2013. THis has been ID'd as: Paruroctonus boreus on Bugguide. After research, I agree with the ID and it occurs where I took the image. http://bugguide.net/node/view/741793
