"I believe this species is a potential vector for Dutch Elm Disease. See: http://na.fs.fed.us/spfo/pubs/pest_al/ded/elm.pdf One individual was at my front porch. ID confirmed by D.J. Heffern. See BG here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/1080985 Not common in Texas: Mike Quinn tells me the sp is known from ""several North Texas counties and from College Station""."
