Description:
"""While doing some field herping with a friend yesterday, I discovered quite a substantial population of Xenopus laevis in a large pond at a park adjacent to Oxnard College in Oxnard, California. I saw several specimens near the banks of the pond, all between 2.5- 8 cm long. I managed to capture a few individuals to measure and photograph."" - Shawn Shumaker Observation and photo by Shawn Shumaker, sent to rascals@nhm.org."
