Description:
Everyone else on the observation team had passed right by this snake without seeing it. I had been standing only a few meters away watching the monkeys before I noticed it. I let Joe and Anaid know so they could see it too. It was quite large and looked dangerous, so I snapped a quick picture and we got out of there. When Elsa saw the picture, she said it was a nauyaca.
