Description:
"One this flower head (Gilia capitata, the host plant) there was a mating pair. Then a third (presumably a male) approached and (presumably) the coupled male flipped his wings to send him off. Meanwhile, yet another (male?) hovered around the flower. All four are visible in the photo. This type of behavior is common in this species. Note that this is the ""unspotted"" form of A. singulella. I saw perhaps ten individuals today and none appeared to have the namesake single spot on each FW."
