Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus. Habitat: Metrosideros excelsa. Small cultivated shrub. Beating. Adult weevils common. Identification: Neomycta rubida Broun, 1880. NOTE: This is my first recorded observation of this species, but only because I have ignored it until now.
