Description:
Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, St Johns Bush Habitat: Dead standing tree trunk (probably not Pittosporum), infested with cossonine weevils. One Torostoma was observed, dead on trunk. When found, it was apparently being held by and fed on by an adult Maoricoris benefactor. Identification: Torostoma apicale (Broun, 1880)
