Description:
The Little White-shouldered Bat (Ametrida centurio). Averaging 9 grams, this fruit-eating species disperses the seeds of figs (Ficus), and other fruits. It is rare, and has only been recorded in Trinidad on a handful of occasions. Much of this species' natural history and behaviour remains unknown. Photo: Georgina Patterson (Trinibats)
