Image of White-winged Vampire Bat
Description:
The White-winged Vampire Bat (Diaemus youngi). This rarer species prefers avian (bird) blood to mammalian blood. It is interesting to note that, unlike other predators that kill and consume their prey, the vampire's prey usually survive the encounter. (Trinibats).
