Image of Phalacrocorax carbo novaehollandiae Stephens 1826
Description:
Shags on the shore here tend to be shy. One wasn't, and as I slunk closer, a 2nd one landed. The first waddled down to the second without drawing the wings in, and both proceeded to air their wings, or whatever it is they're doing. Photos in reverse chronological order.
