"Went looking for 980046 but couldn't spot them in the area of that observation. On the way back down the track I spotted some little black cylinders in a dark crevice in a taupata tree, looked about the size of some insect droppings. This is what I saw, looks like full winged versions of that first observation but about 100m away. The markings and triangle of three ""eyes"" on the forehead make me think of cicadas."
