Looks like a Karearea prey kill, but it was interrupted before it had finished plucking the bird. I think this was on the Campbell St to Wrights Hill track, but might have been along the Zealandia outer boundary track. Looks like it was probably killed by Karearea, some of the first evidence I saw that they had moved into the area.
