Description:

This was an odd find. An intact, partially decomposed fish lying in the forest at least 5 m away from the Rakaitane Walk track and perhaps 20 m away from the edge of the Arnold River. There was a weka in the area but it didn't take any notice of the fish while we were there (despite passing within about a metre of it).
