I got the privilege to go out on a research trip with Dr. Susan Heath of Gulf Coast Bird Observatory to monitoring nesting of American Oystercatchers. The boat ride was rather bumpy, but a great day to be outdoors and see wildlife on west Galveston Bay. All of the banded birds were reported to the project.
