Mary Ellen and I were out for a walk on the Freycinet peninsula when we spotted another couple - they were a pair of oystercatchers, out finding dinner and guarding their nest. The Oystercatchers Haematopodidae - a worldwide family of coastal, wading birds. Australia oz2009 673
