Description:
"Apologies - I took these photos before I knew about the ""Global Snapshot of Biodiversity"" project. If you look closely at the male, you can just about see the U shaped markings on S2 ... the immature female had just emerged. Ironically, I used a shallow depth of field that day, because I've got tons of ""sharp"" Azure Damselfly photos from previous years - and I wanted to try out something different. I was hoping I could retake these before the project finishes - but dull conditions today again - so they won't be flying ... sadly."
