Description:

New to the database. This is the shell of a juvenile, and it is a little bit chipped around the edges. This can be quite a large shell when the animal reaches maturity. This species is quite rarely found on Sanibel, but it is also probably overlooked by a lot of shellers, as it is one more all-white bivalve shell among many others.
