We saw ten bald eagles on this trip, mostly solitary but also a pair together. A few months earlier (December), there are many more eagles along the Skagit, they congregate in this area in the winter. We took a float trip down the Skagit River, it was an interesting way to explore the North Cascades. We started at Marble mount and went down to Rockport with Captain Dave.
