Description:

Several Purple foxglove were seen in bloom in the riparian zone of Stockhoff Creek near the beach access to Stillwater Cove west of State Highway 1. While this plant is not native to California, it is widely naturalized, especially in the Northern California coastal zone and part of the western Sierra.
