Description:
This is a female spider. Their body length is approximately 20-30mm. The Nephila fenestrata (Black-legged nephila) occurs ofer most of South Africa, excluding the arid central and western regions. The Nephila fenestrata is the only species of Nephila to occur in the Western Cape.
