Image of Nephila fenestrata
Description:
This orb spider - of some sort - has established itself in our garden. This is the first time, in seven years, that I have seen this species in the garden. Usually, there have been numbers of another species (see other observations). Interestingly, there have only been a few of the other (more commonly seen) species this 2015 season. The span of the legs is estimated to be 70 - 80 mm.
