Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, Auckland Central, Mahuhukiterangi Res. Some information on the site can be found here. It is also called 'Mahuhu ki te Rangi Park', 'Mahuhu ki te Rangi Quay Park', or just 'Quay Park'. Habitat: Rhopalostylis sapida. Cultivated. Nesting under leaf sheath. Workers and alate queens observed. Identification: Tetramorium bicarinatum (Nylander, 1846).
