Specimen was dead when this photo was taken. From the looks of it, the specimen appeared to have been flattened by a passing vehicle, given the tire tracks and squashed appearance on the specimen. However, it is worth mentioning that the blocks close to the location where the photo was taken have a knack of conducting regular fogging sessions of their garbage chutes, so it is unsure if the specimen died from the fogging process or if it became roadkill coincidentally.
