Description:

Banded bird released in the Ark in the Park sanctuary, northern Waitakere Ranges. The bird has traveled a long distance from the Ark zone. This whitehead was with a mate, also banded, who has been sighted at this location before. Not the same bird as the one in this observation, but both territories are close to each other by Arataki Visitor Center: http://naturewatch.org.nz/observations/4188330
