Image of Acanthocephala declivis (Say 1832)
Description:
On my way down to the Texas Master Naturalist state conference, I stopped at a few state parks I hadn't been to before. In the evening, I stopped by Sea Rim State Park to walk around a bit and even set up the black-light. It didn't last long -- the mosquitoes were incredible! They only came out about 30 minutes past sunset, but wow -- swarms. :)
