Image of Oenanthe pimpinelloides
Description:
A large paddock that until a few months ago was grazed by horses is now a flourishing field of various grasses and this predominant weed. The ground is not far above sea-level and although it has drainage channels all around it it is presumably not much above the water-table and has been very wet all winter. This weed is called 'Parsley Dropwort' on the Massey University Weeds Database at http://www.massey.ac.nz/massey/learning/colleges/college-of-sciences/clinics-and-services/weeds-database/parsley-dropwort.cfm
