Description:
Beside road about 4 miles SE of Mt. Shasta city. Unstocked area (under 5%) of commercial chaparral consisting mainly of Arctostaphylos patula with some scattered Castanopsis sempervirens and Prunus virginiana (=Prunus demissa). Commercial conifers in background are Ponderosa pine, sugar pine, incense cedar, Douglas fir. Soil 3 - 4', rocky from lava origin. Site 125-130. Assoc. Sp.: Some scattered PP reprod., T 40 N R 4 W Sec 26 Quad name: Dunsmuir. Quad number: 14.
