Description:

Habitat: Overgrown fresh alluvial river deposits, in a small depression with occasional standing water, among Salix sp. and Myricaria germanica bushes, shallow ground water, calcareous ground, flat terrain, sunny, exposed to direct rain, average precipitation ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 350 m (1.150 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: partly muddy river deposits, mostly limestone pebbles. - Comment: Only a few plants, three of them with flowering spikes.
