Reno Quadrangle, Nevada. Looking southeast of stand of scrubby Abies concolor on slope of Peavine Peak. Trees 2-12 inches d.b.h. and mostly 5-25 feet tall. Few older trees as large as 3 feet d.b.h. and 100 feet tall. Dark shrubs are Cercocarpus ledifolius, others mostly Artemesia tridentata and Ceanothus velutinus., T 20 N R 18 E Sec 13 Quad name: Reno. Quad number: N-60. Reference to map: 4.
