Image of Leucospermum truncatum (Buek ex Meissn.) Rourke
Description:
Leocuspermum belongs to the Protea plant family. Its inflorescences always excite me. This species was found on the border of De Hoop nature reserve in the Western Cape. It grows in a typical cape shrubbery called fynbos. Locally it is a special fynbos on limestone.
