Image of Solenopsis laurentia (L.) C. Presl
Description:
Solenopsis laurentia is a shy tiny Mediterranean flower. It is often annual, sometime perennial. Last year it was found for the first time in Israe, just by chance. Plantsman Shir Vered, found it in his photographs, he actually photographed another plant. Prof. Avi Shmida identified. I found it very difficult to photograph this tiny flower, this picture has the maximum magnification possible for me.
