Description:
Salvia sclarea is a widespread sage, found between the Mediterranean Basin and Central Asia. It is characterized by pinkish bracts that accompany the flowers. It is also medicinal and recently grown commercially for omega 3. In Israel it reaches its southern natural border and therefore locally endangered.
