Conchoecissa imbricata female
Description:
An abundant species at mesopelagic depths at midlle latitudes in the North Atlantic. It is a strong diel migrant moving from daytime depths of 300-600m by day up to 100-400m at night. Length of the female is 2.6-3.2mm
