Bukit Tagar, Selangor, Malaysia.Dracaena fragrans (L.) Ker Gawl. Asparagaceae, also placed in Agavaceae, Convallariaceae, Dracaenaceae, Liliaceae, Ruscaceae. CN: Cornstalk Dracaena, Corn plant, Green corn plant. Native of tropical Africa; elsewhere naturalized and cultivated as ornamental. Young shoots typically variegated yellow-green stripe and turning dark green with age. Woody stem can reach ca 10 m tall. Small pieces of cut-stems often sold in nurseries and placed in water-filled containers for tabletop decoration. Synonym(s):Aletris fragrans L. (basionym)Cordyline fragrans (L.)
